- This is Japanese sweet food.
The name is "GOZA-SOROH".
Another name of "GOZA-SOROH" is called "OHBAN-YAKI" and "IMAGAWA-YAKI".
A craftsman handcrafts it one by one.
Warm "bean jam" is in "GOZA-SOROH".
"The bean jam" is called "ANKO" in Japanese.
It is 80 yen per one. ($1 per one)
When I came to Himeji-jo Castle of the world heritage, please eat at Himeji Station.
i like how a generous amount of red beans are put in
So i've spent the last two hours watching japanese people make skillfull foods. I need a hobby.
+C4nadian me too hahah
OR some cash money to make it rain on these cooks in Japan. And get to Japan...

I tried them before..so delicious and healthy..😋😋😋😋😋👍🙏
Amazing, their technique seems almost mechanical.
I'm surprised they aren't replaced by machines, there's nothing in this video which machinery can't do more efficiently(although they are extremely good), but it's definitely more impressive to watch people.
The Japanese method of no wasteful action...
AvatarTwasCheesy Replace them by machines and you see a lot more non-employed people ! Japan ain't dumb ! Plus machines won't serve you your food and say thank you and take the money from you & give you change !
Audrie Dee Uh, yes it can. Have you even gone to a self check out at Wal-Mart? People are easily replaceable with machines.
Ballz Deep I live in Algeria, which is in North Africa so no I haven't since we don't have a "Wal-Mart"& no I still think that there are things that you can only do on your own!
Anyone who lives in LA and wants to try these they are in little Tokyo.I tried them and love it truly a work of art. :)
I like Japanese treats as they don't use so much sugar--or none at all--and are less fattening
because Japanese people stayed their job for a life, they become perfect in their skill.
That is a LOT of red bean paste! WOW. That looks so good!
wow!!
what is a lot of red beans paste!
I will become fan of this shop!
wow they are so busy ! at least you get one that's freshly made !
They taste good when freshly made. It's really not 'to die for." Lots of Asian countries have very similar red bean pastry. Once you've had one, you've had them all.
This looks so good!!
We have the same thing in Australia... but they only put a little more than a spoon full of the bean paste in the middle.
It's like red bean paste wrapped in pancakes. super awesome!
Very nice Delicious food
I love red bean, and that's a big helping of red bean in the middle!

The more videos i watch, the more i badly wish to visit Japan. or get a WHOLE supermall dedicated to Japan
So this is how they're made.....I love red bean buns
We have this in China as well. I remember buying this a while ago in Guangzhou... It was so goooood. Perfect for a tiring city life's day.
That's a whole load of filling. In my country, a stick of that paste would probably be enough for a day's worth of those things
i could watch them do that for hours!
I always Thought That Red Bean Paste Was salty until I saw maangchi videos of this on you tube
those bean paste look delicious man ;w;
I like this guy. He puts in a lot of anko.
No these are slightly different same red bean paste and batter but these are a lot thicker, the dorayaki is more like two small hotcakes stuck together with red bean paste, they aren't sealed like how these cakes are.
Omg I ate this a lot! Back in Venezuela there was a Chinese girl that used to sell this cake in the community market! Omg chocolate, coconut, vanilla! Good old days!
wow they're so expert, i love how they work so fast.
I love other typ of this that have custard or white beans paste called "SHIRO-AN" too!!
He made that Goza sorou collumm impressively! Yeah, my stomache hurts, too
I have been looking for these for a long time. Here in New Zealand there is a guy who makes them and they are called wheel cakes. THEY ARE DELICIOUS!
Wait... They didn't really show how they were made! They showed the first half of the operation, but not the 2nd. Do they close the other side and flip it to make it a sandwich with the filling enclosed? Do they add more batter? Are they flipped by hand? What happens??
Neko Mimi i think they fill the other side and flip it, after seeing a short snipit of what the other man was doing in the back thats what i got.
I'M SAYING THO!
japan always clean
OMG that huge chunks of red bean paste!!!

Red bean snacks are the best!!
red bean is japanese say "AZUKI"
The man is very generous with his adzuki :)
Obanyaki (大判焼き) is probably best equated to a thick pancake filled with azuki bean paste (餡子). It's very good and sweet!
